Future Projects
The project we are hoping to do for 2002 is to put a playground and trail in at Werner Park (Two Rivers Village.) We will also be fixing up the trail at Middle Park (Candy Mountain Islands) in 2002. We are hoping to put a bridge joining the 2 islands in 2003 (we will need the carpenters of the area to help with this; design is in progress.) There will be a 1 acre parcel and a 10 acre parcel of parkland with the new development behind Candy Mountain Road. We will be working on those when they become available. If you or the company you work for can help with any of these projects please let a member of the executive know.

We will be having our 3rd annual auction on April 27th at GTO's in Penhorn Mall. Viewing of the auction items will start at 6:00 with the auction starting at 6:30. DJ services are being provided by Mineville resident - Kevin Murphy - of KSM Entertainment (he has a great selection of music.) Secretary Needed
The MCA requires a new secretary on the executive. Thanks to Denise Pellerin for fulfilling this role for the past year. If you can help out please contact a member of the executive.
Some people have expressed concern about the amount of garbage in the ditches along the Mineville Road. Unfortunately, nobody is going to pick it up for us. If there is enough interest, we can organize a community cleanup in the Spring.
1000 KM Walking Club
Just a reminder, that if you walk or jog on a regular basis you should be logging your kilometers. A map showing distances of the various streets in the area can be found on our website (you can log KM's outside of Mineville too.) Once you've logged 1000KM's you win a free T-shirt with the Mineville logo and 1000 KM Walking Club on it.
